Myself, I work for a ready-mix concrete company delivering concrete to various job sites, many of which are homes being built. Most of the contractors I deliver concrete to are small business owners, and many of them that I have talked with are very worried about what the effects of the universal health care would do to them. Because if they don’t already offer health care to their employees, they could be fined by the Govt. if they don’t. Many of them can’t afford that added expense of paying for health insurance for their employee’s. I believe that if this health care reform is rammed through like the president wants done, it will place MANY small business owners out of business. That and adding in the Cap & Trade that they are trying to push through as well, will RUIN small businesses.

Am curious to see what small business owners reckon about this.
