Should I avoid being diagnosed with a condition until I get new health insurance?
So I am 21 (nearly 22) and can stay on my parent’s healthcare plot until I am 23. I have been having a lot of joint problems, and my doctor suggested it could be early signs of RA. The problem is that if I am diagnosed now, I am worried I won’t be able to get health insurance on my own when I age out in a small over a year (or it will be ridiculously expensive). I am currently in college, but am considering grad school (I would have to buy insurance). I don’t know what to do. Thank you so much!
I haven’t really been diagnosed, so I don’t reckon I could get in any distress since technically I am not really with-holding information.
mbrcatz, I despise to tell you this, but we are in a recession. it isn’t likely I would be able to find a full time job (like something in retail, etc) that would allow for me to also go to school full time.
