I’m 24 ( 25 next month ) and my boyfriend and I are plotting a cross country trip back to Michigan ( where we met) from Texas along with our 3 year ancient daughter. His family is from Michigan, and my father and his family live in Michigan still as well. When I was finishing my last year of college my parents and grandparents were granted temporary guardianship of my daughter so she could be added to my mothers health insurance plot. I know that I can revoke that at any point by simply going down to the court, but if I go my daughter out of state my parents and grandparents ( especially my grandparents ) are threatening to take me to court for custody of my daughter. They continue to say I’m going to ruin her life by moving her there. They’ve said things like this to me everytime I have went away from their hometown. Any suggestions on how to clarify to them that I am moving and they will just have to deal with it?
