Do Republicans think that if they keep repeating the same nonsense, then people will eventually believe them?

Do Republicans reckon that if they keep repeating the same nonsense, then people will eventually believe them?

I am interested to know what is the psychological drive of these people. Do they really believe what they are saying, or they deliberately spreading disinformation in order to advance their own cause?

Honestly fellas, we know Obama is not a Muslim, so why do we keep on hearing such accusations on Yahoo Answers?

We keep on hearing accusations that Obama is responsible for the unemployment level. Yet the people making such accusations seem to have selectively forgotten how we got here. In the words of the Bush they elected, “The question facing a President is not when the problem started, but what did you do about it when you recognized the problem. And I readily concede I chunked aside some of my free market principles when I was told by chief economic advisors that the situation we were facing could be worse than the Fantastic Depression. So I’ve told some of my friends who said — you know, who have taken an ideological position on this issue — why did you do what you did? I said, well, if you were sitting there and heard that the depression could be greater than the Fantastic Depression, I hope you would act too, which I did. And we’ve taken extraordinary measures to deal with the frozen credit markets, which have affected the economy. Credit spreads are beginning to shrink; lending is just beginning to pick up. The actions we have taken, I believe, have helped thaw the credit markets, which is the first step toward recovery.” And BTW, for those who are not aware, the unemployment rate is the highest in 26 years, which means the highest since 2009-26 = 1983 = two years into the Reagan presidency. That’s right, Reagan had unemployment grow to 10.8%, even though he inherited 7.2% unemployment from Carter.

Here’s another one. Republicans accusing Obama of doing nothing since he got into office:

But do they really read the answers? Are they not aware that the recession is over, the Dow is at its yearly high, credit is flowing, home prices are up, etc??? Are they not aware that the stimulus plot played a huge role in this economic recovery?

Another one that keeps on popping up is the accusation that Democrats are worried of Palin. In fact, according to my research, more Democrats want Palin to run in 2012 than Republicans. Don’t believe it? Well look for yourself:

Oh, and how many times have we heard that Obamacare will throw you in jail if you don’t buy health insurance? Here we go:

See my answer in the post, “If a person does not have acceptable health care coverage, Section 501 imposes a tax (not arrest or jail) on that person …”

So why do Republicans continue to peddle this nonsense? Do they really believe what they are saying? This is a serious question. If anyone has a link to a psychological analysis of these people, I would really like to see it. THANKS!
