am a pre school school teacher, but when i found out i was pregnant, i took a less stressing job as a nanny for a 5 year small girl, i am from england and now live in the usa with my american husband, the family i currently work are moving to another state in july as the child is starting school in august. i have applied for alot jobs but havn,t been successfully because alot have said they don’t want to use someone who have to leave or take maternity leave when the baby is born, this has left me in abit of a panic because we are now a one income family, my husband is in the army reserves and has gone away on drill for 4 weeks so while he is gone i used the flight i had already booked and returned to the uk to do some supply teaching work but that work isn,t coming in half as much id i would like and i am now beginning to panic about how we will pay the hospital bills when the baby comes the insurance has covered some of it but we still need to fine another $700. My husband has a lowed payed job and we had a plot that je was going to active army but the recruiter that they where not recruiting because there are no jobs until october. I never thought the health care in the usa would be so expensive in the uk we have national health service which we all pay national insurance on so that cover half the cost and the gov the rest. My husband dosn,t seem to care about how worried i am because he has never really had to pay for health care hus parent covered it when he was young and the army tricare covered it when he was in. is that men for you or just a selfish bone idle bloke
