What I don’t know people have no problem running to the Welfare Department and getting Gov. Health Care” In witch us as tax payers are pay for anyways. so whats the different if we accept Gov. ran Health care plot. So why complain then Why not say Stop to the Welfare Health care plot ain’t it the “something” but its offered to everyone in any situation? were are so sticking selfish don’t reckon of the people that cant afford it. Maybe I’m incorrect about it that.

Buywer be ware – when you bought your health care, read the contract. If it’s in the contract, they can’t dispute it and if they do dispute it, you can take it to court and no questions questioned, you will win. In addition, they will have to pay a settlement for your attorney fees and a fee for your time in court. But, it’s not likely to go to court because they will just settle if they know they’re going to lose.

Sounds like you screwed up cause the gov didn’t cradle small baby.

I don’t have health insurance and it is my choice… just cost to much right now in my situation.

BUT I still don’t want Obama’s government run Insurance… It’s my fault i don’t have Health Insurance. It’s not the governments job to provide it.

Say NO!!!! to Obama’s Care.. and save your life! You are better off without Heath Insurance like me than with what Obama force on you!

It’s a trick to suck everyone in then they will control every aspect of ur life.

    Please read 1984 again!

You can’t have health care reform without tort reform. Our president and his wife are lawyers. Most Democrat legislators are lawyers. Many of the president’s huge money contributors are lawyers. You reckon he is going to have the balls to mention tort reform? Ditto for our majority democrat congress!

The Government can’t even run a god damn post office decently, how are they supposed to run healthcare? Especially when it will raise taxes and eliminate some peoples coverage. It is a control plot. Obama and the government slowly are taking over. We must stop them now.

Govt run healthcare? The government sucks at running things, so no Obama, I don’t want your healthcare

I do not have insurance but I do not want government in everything we do,if the fraud was stopped and like charging 3.00 for a bandaid that is incorrect stop the fraud and there should be plenty of money. I took care of my own disabled family instead of putting them in homes ,saved the government thousands I am sure ,This should be well thought out and I do not want to make people pay for me. get the government out of everything stop all the fraud and high salaries to the insurance companies CEO’S

Well, it’s going to run out private health care since businesses won’t want to provide health care to employees, since there will be a govt. one, and this will add a huge line to the originally long line of people using the govt. health care. This means it could take months to receive cancer treatment like what has happened in Canada. Also, since so much people will be using universal health care taxes will raise greatly when only 50% of Americans pay them.

This ‘government run health insurance’ thought is a joke!
Please tell me the President will look in the camera one day and say, “Gotcha!” Then we can all laugh and go back to our freedom and liberty. I kinda like those things better!

I always here the positive side of this, but the downside is again we will pay for it,READ the bill dont believe all your told.

  14. bigwhitebear1 on: 7 March 2010 at 10:20 am

does that include all 57 states?

  15. ZEROflawgunner on: 7 March 2010 at 11:07 am

i agree too, insurance companies r becoming way too greedy and now just play the role of “the employee that can save us the most money gets a bonus”. trust me, i had a recent ankle injury and the surgery costs $30,000 and our insurance company r being total douches and r not covering ANYTHING! we need a universal healthcare system now, so people can stop losing their homes over an accident that wasnt their fault, not go bankrupt, have better lives, etc. anyone who disagrees with me, lets chat.

    word!! agree with ya!!

  18. barbcinque on: 7 March 2010 at 12:10 pm

yes I agree..lets start with the asses in corporate america…lets make them responsible and accountable for their corruption instead of giving in to their demands for bailouts…my taxes are bailing out these idiots…..lets apply the same to the bush administration and hold them responsible for their corruption..while our taxes pay for their mistakes…instead you worry about my taxes going to my healthcare

  19. barbcinque on: 7 March 2010 at 12:14 pm

if people are not paid a living wage you dont have consumers which are necessary to feed a capitalist society..without healthcare you have contagious illnesses running rampant through our country…right now we have swine flu..no one should continue to spread this illness because they cant afford a doctor…any idiot can see that health is too perilous an area to sacrifice to profiteering.

  20. barbcinque on: 7 March 2010 at 12:24 pm

some things should never be for sale…and our health is one of them.
I say…if this country is excellent enough to make your riches here…then how about a small loyalty and ease up on the bonuses and ridiculous amounts of profit and show some compassion when capitalistic greed screws the country and its citizens.

  21. johnnorvaisas on: 7 March 2010 at 12:57 pm

Single pay health care will make things worse by reducing competition increasing red tape and exacerbating inefficiencies. We need to make health care more afordable not take it over the cliff.

  22. sessions91 on: 7 March 2010 at 1:20 pm

Why, because it works so well?

  23. sessions91 on: 7 March 2010 at 1:32 pm

Where in the Constitution does it state that we have a RIGHT to health care? O I forgot, its right under the RIGHT to higher education and the RIGHT to affordable housing. My wife and I were layed off in December but I’m not crying for the gov’t to give me insurance. Whatever happened to personal responsibility and accountability. You and I have the RIGHT to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness + Bill of Rights. Bleeding hearts are trying to expand the list of rights all the time.

  24. sessions91 on: 7 March 2010 at 2:10 pm

Hmmm 10,000 out of 300+ Million. I’m sure Americans go to a lot of places at higher rates than 0.000003 % (10,000/300,000,000).

I’d bet the majority of that 10,000 are related to job transfers or people who want to get high legally.

  25. manyara02 on: 7 March 2010 at 3:03 pm

Unklebilly.. MOST might imply that even those of us with insurance have to RATION our care b/c we can’t afford the costs of seeing the doctor and/or having a much needed operation b/c it’s far too costly and would bankrupt us. What are you NOT getting??? You’re talking numbers, we’re talking human beings who happen to be American citizens. We’re talking families who are losing/have lost their homes due to job loss, which normally means loss of healthcare. xception: COBRA reform under Pres Obama.
